GIRLS TENNIS ROUNDUP: 10-08-08

SILVERADO 15, BARSTOW 3: At Victorville, the Hawks (5-1, 2-0 DSL) were unbeaten in singles as they dominated Barstow.

Hannah Brown, Jovana Karanovic and Kelsey Paxton combined to win nine sets. Karanovic lost only two games, and Brown dropped just three games.

Jasmine Kimbrough and Alexis Mariano each swept in their singles sets, losing a grand total of three games between them.

The doubles teams of Kristina Dunkin-Lian Trekell and Haritha Reddy-Clarisse Salazar also swept for Granite Hills, which plays at home Monday against Victor Valley.
