SILVERADO 18, VICTOR VALLEY 0: At Victorville, Silverado (7-2 overall, 4-1 DSL) lost only eight games on the day as the Hawks routed the Jackrabbits.

Singles players Hannah Brown and Jovana Karanovic didn’t lose any games, while the doubles team of Ashley Sanchez and Caroline DeMahieu were also perfect.

The Hawks lost only six games the last time the two teams squared off.

“Even though the score was 18-0, I think Victor has improved quite a bit,” Silverado coach Susie Paxton said. “The rallies were a little longer this time. Obviously they didn’t win any sets, but I can see that those kids are working hard.”
