RIM OF THE WORLD 4, HESPERIA 3: At Hesperia, the league-champion Scots edged the second-place Scorpions (16-8, 7-4 MRL).
Toni Shurtliff went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs, while Hesperia teammate Raeven Ball was 3-for-4.
Each team’s place in the league standings has been determined, but Hesperia will travel to Rim of the World for one final playoff tune-up on Thursday.

SULTANA 1, APPLE VALLEY 0: At Apple Valley, Emilee Reaber had seven strikeouts and no walks in a complete-game shutout, winning a pitchers’ duel with the Sun Devils’ Lindsay Mata as the Sultans (6-13, 4-7 MRL) defeated Apple Valley.
Patti Masner, Taylor Anderson and Leydi Gonzalez were the only Sultans able to get hits against Mata. There were no extra-base hits for either side.

HESPERIA CHRISTIAN 11, JOSHUA SPRINGS 0: At Hesperia, Sierra Rick threw a no-hitter to keep the Patriots’ hopes for an Agape League title alive.
Rick struck out 13 and went 3-for-3 with three RBIs. Sarah Humphrey hit a three-run home run in a 10-run first inning and went 2-for-3.
Hesperia Christian (20-3, 8-1 AL) can finish as co-champs in the league with a win over first-place Victor Valley Christian on Friday.
