Two H.D. Academy players head to next level

Michael-Jon Kelley and Tavea Tarlton will be the first two High Desert Academy graduates to play football in college.

Kelley, a 6-0, 170-pound wide receiver, and Tarlton, a 6-3, 190-pound strong safety, have decided to play football at Cerritos Community College.

They were both named to the All-Victory League first team in the 2007 season.

The Firefoxes concluded their first eight-man football season with a 4-5 record.
