COUGARS GET SEVERAL TO DIVISION III CHAMPIONSHIPS: At Long Beach, Brianna Bebb advanced to the CIF-Southern Section Division III Championships today in two individual events and one relay race at the preliminaries held at Belmont Plaza.
Bebb was fourth in the 100-meter breaststroke with a time of 1 minute, 10.07 seconds and 12th in the 100 freestyle (56.04). She teamed with Leslie Shaver, Hannah Fortin and Kelsey Parsons to take 12th in the 4x100 freestyle relay (3:59.02).
Caitlin McCurley took 14th in the 100 breaststroke (1:13.75) and Parsons was 16th in the 100 butterfly (1:04.30) to also advance.
The championships begin today at 10 a.m. at Belmont Plaza.
