Prep football schedules are out, and we want to hear your opinions. Can a High Desert team win a CIF championship this season? Who are the favorites to win the local leagues? Post your comments here and they may be reprinted in the Daily Press.
The season will kick off Sept. 5 with a handful of "Week Zero" games, and we'll have a full slate of action the following Friday. Practices get under way in early-to-mid August. Below are practice start dates for the teams we've been able to contact. Coaches who don't see their teams listed here should call us at 955-5303 and let us know when practice starts.
